The
intricate hand painted kites of Bali are painted with a water based acrylic on
rip stop nylon fabric. The body has a carved head with a woven lattice
bamboo body covered with painted fabric. The wings or lateral pieces are
attached to the body. All of the kites fly as well as being a beautiful
decorative piece for the wall or hanging from the ceiling.
